Hummus

1 cn                 Garbanzo Beans (chickpeas), drained (15.5 ozs)

1 clv                Garlic, minced

2 tbsp             Lemon juice

¼ cup             Water

1 ½ tsp           Basil, chopped

1 tsp                Cilantro, chopped

tt                      Salt and Pepper

  1. Place garbanzo beans, and garlic into food processor and mix.
  2.  Add lemon juice, water, basil, cilantro, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cover and mix in food processor or blender until smooth.
  4.  Adjust flavor.
  5. Hummus can be served immediately.
  6. Cover and store in the refrigerator until ready to use.

Note:  If consistency is to thick add more water.
